My friend's husband's name is Quits. At first, I thought she was saying Quince or something like that. I asked her again and she said it was Quits. I said, oh, that's an unusual name, was he named for someone? She said no, that his mother already had seven kids and when the doctor or whoever asked what his name would be she said, "I'm calling it Quits". True story. He was christened Robert but no one has ever called him anything but Quits. Joan
