I know it can be expensive and time-consuming planning to travel to out-of-start conventions and events during your busiest holiday summer months especially. That is one of the main reasons I changed my old, original Convention dates from May to January, to give you your summers to stay home and make money while your weather is good for events. Living and painting in Orlando, we have a different schedule for outdoor events and festivals which are mainly in the Spring or Fall.
In order to help spread face painting and body art knowledge across the good 'ole USA. I am working on a "Summer Tour" schedule with several instructors you would like to see in your "neck of the woods". Please keep in mind there are pros and cons of a "Summer Tour", vs.a FPBA Convention. Attending the "Summer tour" would: Probably save you hotel and travel expenses, or at least keep them to a minimum. You would have a small class of 12 or so. Possibly more one- on -one. BY attending a convention you would: Have access to dozens of instructors for several days at one low registration fee. Pay about the same registration fee as 2 day class in your hometown. Have a choice between several pre class instructors. Network with hundreds of like-minded artists from around the world. See the latest products demonstrated by the vendors. "Jam" with hundreds of painters. Contests. Costume and make up "Fantasy Ball" and FUN! Please e-mail off list at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and give me the names of you favorite instructors that you are just "dying" to take a class with right out your own back door, especially if you are not able to attend the 2009 Conventions!
