I finally got to read the October Issue of Face Painting and Body Art
Magazine and can only say "WOW!" The pictures from the World Body
Painting Festival in Seeboden, Austria really makes me want to attend
this one day!

The article on Filippo Ioco has introduce me to yet another fabulous
Body painter that I hadn't known about but will now follow his work
too.

Loved the Info and tips, and step-by-step sections as I'm still a
"newbie". But the article that contained the most 'lessons learned'
was "Getting that Restaurant Face Painting Job" by Arla Albers as it's
shown me WHY I'm not getting them! I go in after work to eat, looking
tired, then try to talk to the manager when they are in a busy hour
with just my tiny brochure. Ok, next time I take some time off my full
time job, I'll use her advice to get that restaurant business.

"Jumping into the frying pan..Our First Country Fair" by Karissa
Peters and Gina Niemi. Their article taught me what to do right and
what to look out for if I'm ever LUCKY enough to get such a gig! So
who says ya gotta learn the hard way all the time? Thanks ladies for
sharing your experience.

There's sooooooo much more in this 32 page wonder but I don't want to
let the cat out of the bag. You'll have to get your own copy to see
all the fantastic paintings and articles it holds! One of it's main
attractions besides the pictures is being able to read articles from
those I see here in the forum! Now THAT's neat!

If you haven't gotten a copy, then go for it http://www.fpbamagazine.com/

Enjoy!
