I've got myself in a pickle. Always trying to push my limits on what I can learn & do in the entertainment field, I upsold a client on doing a luau theme and adding hula & a limbo game in addition to the facepainting. She loved it. Now (waiting til the last minute, of course) she calls me to do facepainting at her son's BD. I'm thinking it's going to be mostly young kids as before so I say sure I can do 1/2 of games again. Then when I finally get her to nail down the number of kids & ages, most are between 8 & 14. Yikes! How do you get that age interested in games! It's going to start at 5 which is starting to get dark, so going to the park across the street , I think might not work. Although, thinking as I'm writing that something spooky would be cool. That age loves to get spooked. LOL! But what? I'm going to pay attention to how dark it is at 5 today. The other option is their backyard which is very tiny. So relay race and such is out of the question. Any of you entertainers who do games have any ideas? Or do you know anyone I might call?
