7:00 pm: 15 Minute Face Paint Design and Unlimited Balloon Accessories combined. (Single) (Normandy A) This is a one person event. Competitor must do both the face painting and the balloon design on their own. Balloons must be prepared during competition, as well as the painting. The painting does not have to be a full face design. Judging will be on: 1) even size of balloon bubbles 2) Originality 3) Can I tell what it's supposed to be? 4) Quality of sponging 5) Quality of brush work 6) Quality of blending. Judging will be 50/50. 7:30-8:30 pm: One Hour Face Painting and Unlimited Balloon Complement (Team) (Normandy B) This is a 2 person, team event. You need to enter this competition with a partner. 1 hour will be given to paint + unlimited balloons costuming. Balloons must be blown up and twisted during the competition time frame. Painting must be done on site as well. Judging will be on: 1) even size of balloon bubbles 2) Originality 3) Can I tell what it's supposed to be? 4) Quality of sponging 5) Quality of brush work 6) Quality of blending. Judging will be 50/50. 9:30 pm Fantasie Ball Competition...anything PG- 13 goes! Show us your most creative side! "WOW" Factor includes: Overall competition includes face painting, body art and balloon costume competition all rolled into one! Everyone is encouraged to paint, get dressed up and enter the competition. You can even team up with a fellow artist to make an amazing creation! Judging criteria that will be considered: 1) Quality of sponge work 2) Quality of design 3) originality 4) Complexity of the design. Voting will be done by your peers. Check in by 9:00 pm to get your competition number. Wednesday, Jan 7th 12-6 pm Body Painting Competition (PG 13) (London/Berlin) Must start with flesh/tan colored little boy short and bikini, bandeau or bra top. No prosthetics or airbrush allowed. All painting must be done during the contest, including any face makeup or lashes. Hair or head piece may be pre done. (Please remember: No G-strings, pasties or nudity allowed.) 7:30 pm CHEEK ART (4 minutes) (Normandy Ballroom B) Pick your own design to encompass 1/4 of the face (you pick the 1/4)....Must have under painting (background). Judging will be on: 1) under painting, 2) quality of the brushwork, 3) overall design (does the design look like what it's intended?) 4) originality 8 pm FAST FULL- FACES (7 Minutes each) (Normandy Ballroom A) We give you one to do, and then you pick one of your own. 7 minutes EACH will be given to this competition. Must encompass all 4 quadrants of the face. (The entire face does not have to be covered, but elements must be in all 4 quadrants someplace.) Judging will be on: 1) Under painting 2) quality of the brushwork 3) Overall design 4) Does the design fit the face 5) Do the design elements fit with one another? (Are the design elements coordinated or just sporadically put onto the face to cover the 4 quadrants?) 6) Originality. Combined score of the two faces will be counted for prizes. 9 pm FABULOUS FULL-FACE your choice. (30 Minutes) (Normandy Ballroom B) Must encompass all 4 quadrants of the face. Enlarged cheek art is not encouraged (like an octopus that has legs in all 4 quadrants with no background.) Under painting/sponge work will be judged as well as brush work and how well it fits to the face. Judging will be on: 1) Under painting 2) quality of the brushwork 3) Overall design 4) Does the design fit the face 5) Do the design elements fit with one another?
