Nancy,

How wonderful of you to feed the cats. :)

I was one of the gals that gave you batteries, but you said "thank you" at
the convention, and that's just fine!

Here are some "next time" tips. I don't know about alcohol, but you can
take hairspray in your checked baggage. I brought back all those hair spray
colors I won that way. TSA searched through my luggage (and left me a nice
little notice) and they didn't confiscate them.

According to TSA's website, you'll need to make sure those batteries do go
in your carry-on.

Nancy, your balloon/painting design was wonderful!

Cheers,

Kristi Darby

Subject: FABP: LOOKING FOR FACE PAINTING GALS from Cynthia's convention

Hi there Face Painters --

I'm trying to locate 6 WONDERFUL GALS I met at Cynthia's Convention a few
weeks ago!

2 very kind gals purchased bags of CAT FOOD for me -- Please email me your
contact info: names, snail mail address, phone numbers -- in all that
CRAZINESS I didn't get a chance to THANK YOU face - to - face, and to
reimburse you at the convention ... thank you for your kindness again!

It broke my heart to see feral cats roaming the grounds at the convention --
I asked 2 face painting gals with cars if they'd purchas some bags of dry
cat food for me -- my roommates and I fed the homeless cats around the hotel
every morning and evening and gave the rest of the cat food to one of the
janitors who also feeds the cats on his breaks.

I'm also trying to track that NICE GAL who purchased HAIRSPRAY for me and
another NICE GAL (who lives in Florida) brought me a container of 99%
rubbing alcohol (can't bring aeralsol hairspray or 99% isopropyl alcohol on
the plane -- damn stuff is flammable)

PLEASE contact me! I WANT TO REIMBURSE YOU GALS for buying & bringing things
for me at Cynthia's convention!

AS I WRITE THIS POST, I'M STARTING TO LOOK LIKE I'M A HOPELESS BAG LADY!

I took a TON of photos! I had NO idea how many batteries I would use up at
the convention -- I purchased an 16 pack of RECHARGABLE batteries to take
with me -- huh! then left the damn things on the dining room table where I
was packing my check-in luggage. TWO NICE face painting gals gave me their
Rechargeable batteries -- please contact me so I can either send NEW ones
back to you or reimburse you with $$.

NEXT CONVENTION I GO TO -- I'll make sure the RECHARGEABLE batteries are in
my carry-on and I'LL LEAVE more than half that crap I brought with me to the
convention AT HOME!

Jenny Henry said to PACK LIGHTLY -- did I follow her directions ??

Jenny gave me her rolling suitcase to take home to Phoenix because I DID NOT
pack lightly -- what was I thinking?? Aren't I a Tackle Tart like most of
us? Cnythia should'a called the Vendors Room - Delightful Goodies!

EVERYONE at Cynthia's convention was HELPFUL and FRIENDLY and GIVING --
including Cynthia !!

Thank You Cynthia!! Thank You Everyone I met and had class with and jammed
with --- specially the 3 girls in the lobby after the jam room closed one
night -- didn't we all have a blast??

My first convention was the MOST Mind-Blowing-Experience I've had in a long
time!! Most enjoyable and Wonderful and --- WOW, I'm running outta words!

Hugs,

Nancy Kartoon in Phoenix</table
