Hi Everyone, I am excited to announce that there WILL BE a 2010 FPBAC in Las Vegas, NV!
It has been such a joy attending the conventions watching everyone fellowship and share ideas and to be taught by some of the greatest instructors. I know how much hard work has gone into producing the convention and I am so grateful to Cynthia for using her time, talents and energy to help each of us achieve our personal best! Cynthia, we love you and thank you for all that you have done and we thank your family for sharing you for so many years!!! We wish you and your family the very best and hope that Carol continues her recovery and that Laurie has recovered from the last convention! Since I have volunteered for the last five years and was "assistant producer" for the last two, I decided that would continue Cynthia's legacy of creating a time and place for all painters to fellowship, learn and have fun. Having been a clown for the 30+ years has given me great insight on the industry and the ability to work with a variety of people. In addition, I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary/Special Education and teaching in the public school system requires a great deal of organization and patience. I am also very blessed with a wonderful family that helps and supports me throughout all of my endeavors. With this in mind, I accept the challenge and honor of producing the FPBAC. In 2010 we will hold the annual convention in Las Vegas, NV. I chose Las Vegas so that we can meet some more of our West Coast painters, to take advantage of the low airfares that are offered continuously, and because we can get some great room rates that allow us to save money during this economic turmoil. The fact that it is a balmy 60 - 70 degrees during January and February doesn't hurt, either! I look forward to gaining new insights from all of you and am appreciative of the support you offer!
