Hi Cyn, I don't think anyone we know was hurt. Diana was there that day to FP but was sent home. I had a gig to do next month at one of the towns which has gone. They think the death toll will be 300. It was a fire storm, the bush was so dry from years of draught and the weather was the highest on record 46.7 also the wind was blowing really strong. It felt like a furnace here, it was that hot and we are 2 hours drive from where it happened. The survivors said that it went pitch dark so you couldn't see where you were going and the noise was like a few airplane engines revving up. The flame blew across town like a tsunami wiping out 700 houses in 20minutes. The whole of OZ has come to their aid and us FP also. Millions of dollars have already been donated. It was amazing to hear the survivors say they didn't care that they have lost everything, they are still alive and some of their friends and neighbors aren't. Whole families were wiped out. It happened so fast. They also think the fires might have been lit. Can you post this as I cant seem to get it happening I'm hopeless! Thanks for your concern.
