Hi, President's day is not a holiday at my day job so that part wouldn't matter. My husband and I just had a weekend in Vegas and even though we stayed at a top hotel (Bellagio) and had a wonderful dinner and saw Cirque du Soleil, thanks to a gift from my son, we really disliked Vegas and said once was more than enough so another weekend hanging out there would not be an enticement for me.
If I went there it would be for the convention and that's all; I know my husband could not be dragged there again. February is usually slow here but the one day that I do usually work would be Valentine's day so that would not be my first choice. Sorry to be a downer but that's just how I feel about Vegas. The fact that the convention would be close would be an enticement if the date was right.
