I lost a job because of the "mean" look on my face. Several years ago
I was painting at a mall. There were at least 25 little people in the
playground area in line waiting to be painted. Talk about painting
fast. Then a few weeks later I got a call for a facepainter, but, the
client said please don't send me that grey-haired lady that painted on
that Tues. at the Mall. Shocked, I asked her why? Because she was mean
and not very nice. I didn't tell her that was me. I have never been
mean or nasty to any child. I thought back, I was just concentrating
on my painting. I sent her another facepainter.
So, this was the best lesson for me. I now smile at all kids and
parents, no matter how hard I'm concentrating.
