Hello. Mostly I'm a lurker here (sorry), but with the convention around the corner, I had to speak up and post!
Everyone I know is complaining about the economy and work and job and prices. If you are tired of giving control over your finances and your life, you HAVE to go to the FABAIC convention. Even if you can't afford the convention, take Lori Hurley's pre-class on making money as a face painter. I was really skeptical, but I did it, and I am actually growing my business as a career!!!! Before, it was this hobby which was fun, but her workshop (and the other great classes on the business side of it) have taken my really expensive hobby and made it the bread and butter of my house. If you think you can't afford to go to the convention, you really need to go.
