Last month I got a call from a locally published entertainment mag asking if they could interview me for an upcoming issue. What a great opportunity!
Anyhow, I gave a brief ten minute phone interview and answered a few questions. Pretty straightforward stuff. I wasn't sure the interview was going to make it into the mag since she told me she would be contacting me for photos (but never did). I happened to be at a party (as a guest) today and someone was reading the mag. I asked if it was the May issue and if I could flip through. I was curious to see if they had printed anything. Was pleasantly surprised to see a half page article and a photo to boot. The pic is not the one I would have given, but a cool shot nonetheless. The photo (from my website) is of a design I painted on Kat Beringer for the sushi challenge "face-off" against Gary Cole at last year's convention in Connecticut. The article seemed to focus more on the body painting aspect likely due to the fact that the mag is geared toward adults (My article was opposite a full page ad for a strip club - lol). Some positive info on using the right products and a plug for my website.
