Being a dealer for Royal brushes here are some facts on the care of
brushes.
Rinsing the brush before painting gives the hairs a "drink" and
helps them to absorb and carry color better.
Try to keep paint out of the ferrule while painting.
Any brush type can be washed with gentle soap and warm water. Clean
your brushes thoroughly, removing as much color as possible when you
are finished painting.
It is important to rinse all paint from brushes before it dries.
Always reform the hairs/bristles with your fingers after washing.
Always lay brushes flat to dry to prevent water soaking into wooden
handles which can result in cracking and loosening. Once the hairs/
bristles have completely dried, store brushes upright.
When storing brushes for a long break, dip them in liquid dish soap
and allow to dry. When you are ready to use them again, simply rinse
well to remove the soap.
