I have always taken my paints with me on the plane. However, I have also
been pulled aside and checked every time, too. I tell them it's face
paints before it goes through and the outside of my kit shows a picture of a
face I painted. I make sure my water bottle is empty and I pull out my
detailz, etc. and put them in a separate clear baggie. Just takes a few extra
minutes and I always had the person who checks my things my card.... who
knows, I may get a job out of it.
