Gina,

You go girl.

I hope this information Gina shared will help others. Here is some
more for everyone. My mother used to run hotels and motels. Gina
figured out something that hotels DON'T want you to know.

Some places have three ways to book your reservations: online, the
chain's 800 #, and the direct phone number of the individual place.
You should check the price in all three places because they can vary;
also they can vary week to week as to which location has the lower
price. So, if the least expensive way is online one week, the
following week it could be less if you call the individual hotel.

The closer it gets to the date you want to be there AND they still
have empty rooms, they frequently drop the price. They would rather
have filled rooms than not. Management and reservationists are
reviewed and awarded for the percentage of rooms filled.

Now, you do run the risk of NO rooms at the inn.

However, here is a trick......I will deny it if ever asked
though....LOL.....

Make reservations EARLY so you are guaranteed a room no matter what.
Then periodically check the prices in all three locations, when you
find a better price BOOK it at that moment. Then, cancel the first
reservation with the higher price. Now, if you are booking the
cheaper price with the 800# or direct phone number: book the cheaper
room, hang up, call back, cancel the reservation for the higher cost
room you originally had.

Happy Stars To You,

Cheryl Ferguson
