Okay,
So I've backed off from posting this to the forums! Why? There is so much
sickness going around I didn't want to bring down everyone with "Yet Another
Posting"
However - My brother (Long Time Family Friend) Is in need of some extra
prayers to push him through this next step!
This is the story :
Chris was picking up his 8 year old daughter from school in Oakland,
California on his Harley. On his way home, two blocks from his house, a Van
with
a father and 3 kids ran an stop sign and hit Chris and his daughter. Chris
is an experienced Rider. Instead of laying his bike down on it's side (
which is what your normal reflexes would do) he positioned himself to take the
blunt of the impact so his daughter would not get run over and would
survive.
Several minutes later, they found Chris ( 300 lb man) laying on top of his
8 year old daughter ( tiny little cookie) both of them unconscious.
-fast forward-
The girl had a ruptured spleen and concussion. She's home already! Thanks
God!
Chris
- Broke Every rib on one side and 6 on the other
- One collapsed Lung
- Shredded his intestines
- Kidney's Failed
- heart swollen
- Brain Swollen
- concussion
Fast Forward
Chris's Intestines have healed and have good blood flow, Had pneumonia
almost gone, has brain waves, is responded to some stuff, like rubbing his
wife's hand. Still on life support, Kidney's are functioning, Brain it
self is undamaged from what they said, but still has swelling around the
brain. There major questions is his responses to commands effected.
There is so much more that has gone on, from surgery after surgery, to high
fevers to nights where we didn't know if he was going to pull through.
Please just say a prayer or send positive healing thoughts to him and his
family!
