Spent a week face painting on the OASIS. It was a piece of cake! This was my first working/cruise, so I was not sure what to personally expect. Everything went like clockwork from the beginning to the end ;o)
A note was on my stateroom door as a boarded, with my work schedule and request to meet with the asst. cruise director at a certain time to confirm. I showed up where and when I was supposed to, lines were never long for painting, not many tips tho (folks don't carry money, as a rule) Painted the usual circus and pirate themes a couple of days. I only painted on sea days. The ship is HUGE with so much fun stuff to do. Never got it ALL done, but REALLY enjoyed so much of what it had to offer. Saw ALL the shows. They were TOP NOTCH, I might add ;o) Make your reservations for ALL of them, ASAP upon boarding the ship. My sis and I did OPEN seating for dinner so we could go whenever we wanted. Never had a wait, really. The ship and it's staff are so efficient. TWO THUMBS UP! Please e-mail me if you have any specific questions, I would be happy to share my experience.
