Oh boy.  I went to check out  the links you posted.  Yes, the pictures at the
church function are acrylic.  You can see it in the foreground one of the
photos.

I also noticed that on the page to pre order the kit it says it has EVERYTHING
you need to start painting at birthday parties and local events.  The one thing
it does not contain...the paint.  I thought that was odd.  I'm really hoping
it's because she will be recomending actual face paints but, who knows.

Subject: [fpba-assn] Donna Dewberry coming out with a FPing kit. (It's not
pretty folks!!)

Donna Dewberry is coming out with a face painting kit. While I love
the lady's work and talent, she shouldn't be crossing over into an
area that she is ill-prepared to teach, especially when she's
admitted
to using acrylic paint in the past to paint faces.

Here is the link to her blog site:
http://www.dewberrycrafts.com/products-a-supplies-store.html?page=sho...

Here's where you can see pictures of her face painting at a church
event in april 2010:
http://dewberrycrafts.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

It's obvious what kinds of paints she's using at the church
event....acrylic.

The other fact is that the painting displayed  at the church event is
NOT on the level of
face painting that we would deem worthy of an instructor. I'm
especially confused as the church pictures (taken in April 2010) are
nowhere near the same as the one on her face painting kit page (dated
May 2010).    Does anyone else find this strange?

Just thought you'd all like to know,
Kat B.
