Hello everyone,

There are eight spots available for a workshop and jam that I will be
hosting on Thursday, June 24th and Friday, June 25th, 2010. I will be
teaching this workshop myself because my right arm, Jennifer Gardner
will be unable to attend due to previous engagements.

I feel that I am qualified to teach beginners and those that are new
to the industry because of the progress that I have made! I was so far
behind in the learning curve when Bert introduced me to face painting
several years ago. I actually paint very well now. Parents actually
stand over my shoulder and whisper, "Wow, you are a real artist!" This
is a result of constant practice and the mentorship of fellow face
painters like Pat Newton, Mark Reid, Jennifer Gardner, Bert
Scarborough, and Bethany McClean! that have become dear friends in
this fabulous career called face painting! So, I am here to encourage
those that think they can't and teach what I can and share some
experiences that I have overcome along this fabulous face painting
journey!

The two-day workshop is all-inclusive and will be held at Hilton Head
Island, South Carolina. This is approximately a five-hour drive from
Atlanta and four hours from Charlotte, N.C.. This is for those of us
who prefer a more intimate setting than the traditional workshops and
convention can offer. Not to say there is anything wrong with either,
just different. This workshop is geared towards the beginner and early
intermediate face painter. But, of course, anyone is welcome!
Remember, there is limited space available for eight artists only.

By all-inclusive, the $150.00 covers a two-day workshop where we will
focus on technique for line-work, blending, etc. The cost includes
room and board, as well.

Wait… It gets even better. If you decide to take advantage of this
opportunity, you can arrive as early as Monday, June 21st and stay
until Saturday, June 26th for a little rest and relaxation before
hand. An additional $50.00 will allow a pre-day session on Wednesday,
June 23rd, which will consist of information and techniques on
marketing, taxes and the business side of our wonderful entertainment
industry! Not so much fun, but necessary.

I realize this is short notice, but I wanted to offer something semi-
close to those of us in the south and near the East Coast, yet still
provide a working vacation atmosphere, for those of us who may have
missed the Florida Convention this year. Or for those who were able to
attend FABAIC, but maybe have never been to Hilton Head, S.C. or would
like an opportunity to network with some fabulous people in our
industry. Some new, some not so new! So, I offer it to my
acquaintances and friends via this google group, first. Your interest
and enthusiasm will determine how far outside (of this circle) I will
offer this get-away work-shop!

Spots will be assigned first-come, first-serve. Feel free to call me
at 770-307-7646 at your earliest convenience for questions and details
or of course, you can e-mail me at [email protected]. Please
understand your decision is time-sensitive, as we are only three weeks
away. If you can't make it this time, I promise we will do this
again, very soon! If... you are spontaneous about an inexpensive get-
away with new and old friends and the decision for you is a no-
brainer, please feel free to go to www.magicladderentertainment.com
and go to the pay deposit tab and reserve your spot by paying a $50.00
deposit. In the message to seller, please give me your name and a big
"WOO HOO"! , your contact information, so I can get with you about
the details.

If you are unhappy about receiving this invitation via this google
group, I apologize in advance, but please don't "hate". My intentions
are sincere, honest and true because I do love each of you!

Love and Light,

Leslie Long
