Dear Fellow Painters,

I want to thank everyone for all of their support with the FPBA Convention but
in particular I want to thank Laurie Phelps from Starlines, Tulip Paints, and
European Body Arts. In my quest to thank everyone at the banquet and my fear
of leaving anyone out, I did indeed forget to honor these people who helped in
so many ways.

Laurie Phelps worked very hard (even while she was sick and after being
hospitalized) to not only sponsor and put together the goody bags, asking me
what specific items I wanted to see in the bags and making every effort to get
them in there. She found colored washcloths and personally added the grommets
to make them easy to use. Laurie also put in extra time working with Tulip
paints to help announce their new line of face paints and glitter tattoos and
getting them to donate product for our prize bags. In addition to all of this,
Laurie sponsored our "Tag Team Body Painting Challenge" by supplying product
for the attendees to use and encouraging them to "step out of their comfort
zone" and try using split cakes and other items. It was really fun watching
folks using new and different products while creating unique works of art as a
team. Our wonderful photographer friend, Jason, Emma Cammck's husband, was
able to capture some of these amazing creations so look for pictures of them on
the convention website. All in all, Laurie Phelps put in a ton of time and
energy to help make our event a success. Hats off to Laurie and once again,
thank you for giving so much of yourself!!!

Tulip Paints was very generous in their donation of products to add to our
prize bags. Their new line of paints and glitter tattoos will be readily
available in many of the places you can buy their acrylic paints so look for
them in the stores you already shop in including Michael's, Hobby Lobby and
Wal-Mart. Thank you Tulip Paints!!!

Jaro with European Body Arts was very generous to get us products to use for
airbrushing even though he could not attend the event. Although the
airbrushing products were delivered a bit late, having them available for use
was wonderful. The EBA paints are amazingly smooth and easy to use as is the
equipment and their systems are designed to help you maximize your time with
easy set up and break down. Thank you European Body Arts!!!

To learn more about Starlines, Tulip Paints and European Body Arts please check
the convention website and you will be directed how to get more information and
how to purchase these products.

Once again, thanks you to all who participated and we look forward to next
year's adventure in learning and fun at the 2012 FPBA Convention.

Sincerely,

KAREN OWENS
