[fpc-devel]Help needed building

I checked out fpc freshly, since I thought I broke it. But the same 
problem shows up again:

michael-pbook-ep3:~/Develop/fpc/compiler michael$ make cycle
make: Fatal:: Command not found
make: Fatal:: Command not found
make: Fatal:: Command not found
make: Fatal:: Command not found
make: Fatal:: Command not found
Makefile:155: *** The Makefile doesn't support target , please run 
fpcmake first.  Stop.
