Yes. You need to implement system dependend parts of the system unit,
sysutils, video, mouse, keyboard etc.

I don't know if ever a working version was produced for 1.0. No release
was ever done. The source code can be found here:
ftp.freepascal.org/pub/fpc/olddist/1.0.10/source-1.0.10
While the 1.0.10 source might give you some ideas you should expect the
code needs to be written from near scratch.
