Hi Michael, Just confirming there is no inherent reason why you can't use TortoiseSVN though a proxy cache. I am using it though a squid proxy cache with no problems. I can't remember doing anything beyond configuring the proxy in tortoise. Admittedly my proxy configuration is very simple, maybe your proxy itself blocks SVN.
