Unfortunately I'm on kernel 2.6.22 and that patch is only for 2.6.25. :-(


Could FPC under Linux maybe default to using 'libuuid' instead, until
the '../random/uuid' issue is resolved some time in the future
kernels..?
That way CreateGUID() will at least be usable now (under Linux).
