I had bad experiences using the PIC18 with USB interfaces (bad latency, loss of connection without automatic reconnect). We reverted to RS232/RS422, and are experimenting with the newer ethernet versions.
Thanks for the warning. I am going to discuss this with the FAE.
Did you use host or device mode ? [Sounds like device, we are going to use the host mode of the OTG enabled chip.]
