Although svn remains the primary source control version of FPC, some people (me included) prefer git for developing it. It would be helpful for those people if FPC repository included .gitignore file is git analog to svn:ignore property. This file should be placed in the root directory. Attached is the file I use -- users of non-windows platforms may wish to add other items.
