Ever bit helps. :) Thanks for all the information. At the moment on a i7 3770K with a 500MB/s write speed SSD I can do the whole 'make clean all install' in +- 50seconds. From what I could judge (just by looking at Gnome System Monitor) the packages compile in about 5 seconds with -T 8 specified.
