You know that sacrifices need to be made to make a compiler cross
platform and easily portable.  You can't have it all.

As long as your proposals do not include reducing the number of
platforms/CPUs (an obvious optimization), I'm sure they will get
serious consideration:

They aren't compiled anyway, so they don't affect the compiler's performance negatively. So it does not matter whether they are inside the compiler tree or something else. And after all there could somebody who takes enough interest to implement such a CPU... *cough* m68k *cough* ;)
