I'll ask my colleague who said that Lazarus would "run" on his RPi if
he in fact used the debugger.
From your mail it seems less likely that the fp can use the debugger
that that Lazarus can :-( , as a working command line gdb comes with
gcc and its availability should be rather "standard".
Yes, it's much more easy to setup Lazarus' debugger correctly (no matter
if locally or remote) than to setup fp's debugger, because the latter
needs to be compiled correctly for this...
