You should look at the context of the change. The one you quoted only
added a "," after the "tkUChar" for adding the "tkHelper". The commit
which really added "tkUChar" (and "tkUString") was 11739 (see here:
http://svn.freepascal.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi?view=revision&revision=11739 ).
