Interest yes, time not so much... (yet)
Also a first step should be support for Windows RT (aka Metro), then
Windows Phone 8 support should be rather easy.
Windows RT is not easy. This is a separate RTL altogether.
Not even Embarcadero supports it, to the best of my knowledge.
FPC is more capable of running on all kinds of obscure platforms than
Delphi. So while the core part of the RTL will be different and maybe
also a bit challenging, some points can be reused from Windows as many
functions are available for Windows RT and/or Phone as well.
