For me, that is good enough. It leaves open the possibility of native
implementations.
Given that Arnaud has an implementation for x86 and x64 (windows/linux), that can be
used to implement a manager implementation for these platforms, this covers the main
platforms. Most likely some other people will implement the calls for other platforms.
I don't see how this case differs from cthreads, clocale or cwstring: Like always,
we offer the choice.
