I have not had chance to look at the RTTI branch, but RTTI is very critical for any modern language, and the main FPC branc was hopelessly out of date the last time I checked. It was not able to compile any part of our code base as it is heavily RTTI dependent. Improving the RTTI support in FPC and bringing it at least to the level of the Delphi one is critical for the overall FPC success IMHO, and will allow us to port and offer all of our components in FPC .
