I've always found that Windows is a little bit temperamental with the
make tool, or at the very least it is very slow. Even my Linux virtual
machine runs faster!

Sorry might have been noise about nothing....
It works now.
I noted I have the --jobs set to more than 1. On windows, every once
in a 100 times that leads to random fails.
