Jonas, you are funny.

Yes, Almost every second post that I make to the mailing list gets labeled as
offtopic by you. In fact the words 'the' and 'something' is offtopic since it
doesn't relate to Pascal. I fear that even if I bring up Macintosh or BSD or
Linux topics that indirectly relate to Pascal, my post will be 'off topic' and
cut off.

You know what? You might as well forward ALL my email to fpc-other since most of
my emails contain a mixture of pascal wording and some English wording. A fully
on topic Pascal list would only contain begin/end pairs along with code.

The fact that we cannot use JCL code inside freepascal is in fact very much on
topic. The fact that the freepascal compiler is distributed with a license
called GPL is in fact very much on topic since it relates to the Pascal
compiler, download, installation, etc.

As a gentle mailing list moderator myself, if someone were to complain they did
not like the license Powtils was shipped with on a Powtils mailing list, I would
not ban the person or send them to some other list because:
- I am open to discussion about the license that is shipped with source
- I am not trying to hide anything nor am I scared of such issues
- software usually always contains a mix of licenses
- the license has everything to do with the source code
- the license has everything to do with programming
- the license has everything to do with Pascal end users
- the license has everything to do with Pascal developers
- sending them to another list fragments discussion across several lists
- encourages cross posting/duplicate mails or cut off conversations
- it shows signs of anal retentiveness and/or censorship
- it shows signs of emotional sensitivity

Programmers should not be emotionally sensitive to such issues and should be
open to discussion on anything relating to pascal, including licenses that
restrict pascal. In my holy honest opinion.

This email was sent to fpc-other, even though this email has everything to do
with pascal in every way.

>From now on, all my emails should be automatically be forwarded fpc-other by
your gnu mail man computer software. Or I may just not send any mails to the
lists any more because I'm fed up with people who are emotionally sensitive
about every third sentence I speak. I am also fed up with conversations being
chopped off and fragmented into several lists, including some discussions being
hidden on the core.

I also suggest that any sensitive folks put me in your kill file and ban the
entire z505 domain in your firewall/router settings since that z505 site is no
good for anything - it even contains off topic stuff not relating to pascal. In
fact, even my name, with the number 505 in it, is completely offtopic and should
not even be included at the bottom of my message since it is the number 505 and
has nothing to do with Pascal.
