for an application I have in mind I need a (power) switch that can be controlled by TCP-IP.

I need to open/close a small electric engine 220V/50W.

I can find several traps of the sort avaiable in the market (like Ankuoo) but all seem to be bound to a custom application, what is not wanted.

The solution I need must be controlled by me.

Anybody knows of a switch with an API ?

Switch no, but you can use a Raspberry with a Solid State Relay something like

As you probably know fpc can use the gpio pins of the raspberry ...
