Another point is that FPC doesn’t have an official forum except for the mail list and that in and of itself is a problem if you ask me. Most young people don’t use email and won’t like this. I myself don’t prefer the mail list over some of the very nice forums that allow posting code and very easy to use and browse information.
FPC asked the Lazarus team to provide FPC specific forum section to act as official forum, so this is FUD IMHO
