I realized FPC supports nested {} comments by default.
SynPdf, a Synopse PDF engine

has '{' characters inside comments but they are not meant as nested comments.
How to turn nested comments off?
I did not find any such option even by using the new advanced (!) All
Options GUI in Lazarus.
