A pattern emerges: the memory issues are caused on windows in firefox.
There must be some reason for this. I will investigate.
The hello world compiles and runs for me on Windows 11 (64GB RAM)
Firefox 147.0.4
(note also slightly newer firefox, 147 vs 140)
