Debian bug#282026, notes that fpdns 0.9.1 is not able to correctly identify later versions of NlNet's NSD. It seems that the server mentioned in the bug report (ns.enyo.de) is now running Bind; but it also seems that fpdns 0.9.3 is not able to. eve:[~/Debian/fpdns]% fpdns -v fpdns version 0.9.3 eve:[~/Debian/fpdns]% fpdns -f -s -S, -D nl 204.152.184.64 ISC,BIND,9.2.3rc1 -- 9.4.0a0, id: "9.4.0a2" 192.93.0.4 NLnetLabs,NSD,1.2.3 -- 2.1.2, id: "NSD 2.3.0" 193.176.144.2 ISC,BIND,8.3.0-RC1 -- 8.4.4, id: "8.4.6-REL" 193.176.144.130 ISC,BIND,8.3.0-RC1 -- 8.4.4, id: "8.4.4" 62.4.86.228 NLnetLabs,NSD,2.1.3, id: "NSD 2.2.1" 193.0.12.155 ISC,BIND,9.2.3rc1 -- 9.4.0a0, id: "9.3.1" 192.36.144.116 ISC,BIND,9.2.3rc1 -- 9.4.0a0, id: "contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]" Regards, Anand -- `When any government, or any church for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects, "This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know," the end result is tyranny and oppression no matter how holy the motives' -- Robert A Heinlein, "If this goes on --"
