Some developments from today:

Jan-Michael Brummer contributed a driver for the UPEK TouchChip found in
Samsung P35 laptops. The driver is called "upektc". Thanks Jan-Michael!

I improved the register writing code in aes2501 so that we now don't
need to do as many USB transactions. This means that we can sample the
finger more often while it is being scanned, resulting in improved image
quality and a much smoother scanning experience. This change really
improved the image processing/matching results.

It will probably not help the issue reported by Michael Ivanov, where
images from this sensor are low quality (not enough finger material
being detected). This sensor must have different characteristics, we
need to adjust the code to automatically calibrate.

I will probably do another libfprint release this weekend, incorporating
the above changes, plus some API additions to allow for some fancy stuff
inside fprint_demo.

I am one step closer to supporting the new Microsoft sensors in uru4000.
These new sensors have added security measures which required driver
modifications. I expect to have proper news next week.
