For people like me that have been subscribed to the list for a short
time, Lukas is referring to

I too have been working on python bindings for libfprint for a pet
project. I would propose that some implementation of the python
bindings be merged to the  libfprint git tree and/or publicized on the
project's homepage before more people go reinventing it...
