Hi,

I see there's some interest in python wrappers. Sorry that I never
responded before, I know some work was done a while ago.

I'm all for these efforts but would prefer to keep them outside of the
libfprint codebase. i.e. make a separate package which depends on
libfprint at compile time + runtime, and simply compiles/installs the
python bindings.

I will happily let people publish such packages on the sourceforge
fprint project download area, and you could also use sourceforge's
CVS/SVN services if you want.

Also, if multiple sets of bindings have been created or if people want
to create alternatives, I'm happy to host those too, as long as you all
get along and choose different project and module names :)

So if anyone is interested, show me some code, tell me your sourceforge
username and let me know if you want CVS/SVN in addition to file
releases access.

The above applies for bindings to any language, not just python.

Daniel
