Hi

The problem is that while your device is supported, the driver is only 
present in libfprint-0.1.0-pre (GIT version)

"emerge =libusb-1.0.9999 =libfprint-9999 =pam_fprint-9999 
=fprint_demo-9999 -av" should do the trick (possibly some unmasking first)
