I have cross compiled libfprint for my ARM9 board. I have a microsoft
fingerprint reader and
the image processing and verification is far too slow (takes about 3 minutes).
The processor is a
ARM920T 200Mhz and i have 32 mb of memory. I solved the library loading error
by creating a
swap partition.
But 3 minutes is too long. And i've searched for a fingerprint reader with
hardware matching.
Libfprint supports the UPEK eikon fingerprint reader. The old version is a
TCRE3, which will work
with libfprint. But they are hardly find to buy. There is also a TCRD4 version,
which is newer.
But does anybody know if the TCRD4 will work with libfprint ?
