Hi, this is my first mail to the list, I'm new with libfprint but I
want to share with the libfprint comunity a project that I will began
to develop in a few days.
The basic idea is to develop an embedded access control, to open a
door validating with the finger print and registering the access in a
log system.
I plan to use some of the routers that works with small linux
distributions like open-wrt and use an usb fingerprint scanner with
libfprint to do authentication. This routers today have USB ports and
I have developed a generic USB I/O board for my degree project
(http://www.fing.edu.uy/~pgusb) so I plan to use it in this project to
interact with the outside world (display and magnetic door lock).
I want to share this with you, and maybe some of you plan to do
something similar and we can form some kind of task group to exchange
and discuss design and implementation issues.
