Hi,
New Dell Latitude notebooks (e.g. E-series, such as E6400) are being
shipped with a Broadcom Corp. USH Fingerprint Reader device.
As far as I have searched, I was not able to find any hint on available
support for linux.
Would you know about some effort in this area?
Otherwise, from your experience, would it be worthy to try to extend
fprint support for such device? I have some programming skills, and an
unusable biometric device in my notebook which I'd love to use...
'lsusb' -v follows; it works under Vista with DellControlPoint app.
