Hi, I would just like to ask if it is still impossible to directly compare two fingerprint data structures? Im implementing libfprint in a client-server setup with the fingerprint reader attached to client PCs. They way i do it now is the client performs a new scan and compares it with the prints stored in the server. What i would like to happen is the client sending the fingerprint data structure to the server and let the server do the comparing. This would make it faster because i plan on using old computers as clients.
