Hi, I'm using the latest version of fprint on my Dell Vostro laptop with a UPEK TouchStrip sensor. The images of my fingerprints were indeed captured with a good quality, but I could not get my fingerprints verified. Usually I could only get 30 to 40 matched minutiae in an image, but even I tried to increase this number to 70, the demo programme still reported "not match". I then ticked the option to show the minutiae on the image, and what I found is that the demo programme marked a lot of noise points in the image as minutiae. I'm not sure whether the noise from my sensor or the analysing algorithm led these mismatches. Is there anybody tried the demo programme on this type of sensors?
