Well that describes my needs preety acurately :) Please count my vote for it... May I suggest something?... You could make the input some standard format, maybe .PNG so that it could give you fewers headaches, makinging a very strict and well defined API. I imagine even capuring fingerprints with a camera, wouldn't it be nice?
